Friday of the Second Week of Advent

It is too easy to overlook the humanity of Jesus. In an incredible moment, the unimaginable happened: the Creator and sustainer of the universe took on human flesh and became one of us. Truly one of us. Did Jesus cry? Was He ever lonely? Did He ever have doubts about the choices He had made?

Read the Gospel texts and you’ll see Jesus, deeply human, in all of our human emotions.
